Tara's look-alike baby sister, they are chasing butterflies together. Mejane was still a puppy when illness took her from this world. A bright and special baby, gone too soon. She was between six and seven weeks old in these photos. Such a cutie.

Mousse, the one who took care of his littermate brother
before their eyes were even open. Mousse was the
lawyer's apprentice.
The biggest puppy of the litter; at birth, he had a mouse-gray overlay of
color, and he was colored similar to chocolate mousse. Hence his nickname.
When the litter was born, one puppy, Sunni, was small and weak, we had doubts that he would survive. Our vet gave us a special supplement formula for him. Sunni's best buddy
was Mousse, who snuggled to him all the time, never crowded him,
seemed to sense that the baby brother needed extra attention and
warmth. Sunni made it, and I swear that Mousse helped!
Mousse went to live with our friend George (who co-owns Dixi and Rikki with us). We lost Mousse to an accident when he was sixteen months old. Such a special boy, and such joy he brought in his brief and shining life.
