11/10/28 - 4/4/99

Bob and I began our interdependence on July 4, 1976, America's Bicentennial. Before we were married, I called him my "Beau". I usually called him "Rob", unless I was stressing a point to be made - then it was "Bob!" He is at rest now, no more suffering, no more illness. We will meet again, I know.

Christmas Day, 1998

I knew this was to be his last Christmas, even though we did not know he had cancer again. I sneaked in a few extra snapshots of him when he wasn't looking, or I was able to catch him off-guard. He hated having his photo taken.

Bob and Hadjali

These last photos I took of him were the two taken when Mary brought Hadjali to us on 2/23/99, and I put the pup into Bob's arms.

It is better to have loved and lost, than to never have loved at all.

Many will pass in and out of my life, but only my true friends will leave footprints on my heart.

May God hold you in the palm of His hand, and may His angels continue to watch over you and me. So long for a little while, my loves — please wait for me at the Rainbow Bridge.
